I noticed the VelBus components all have a CE mark, but no CEBEC mark. Is it ok (legally) to use these components in a new house? Don’t want to end up with problems getting an OK from AIB/Vincotte…

CEBEC is not a legally required mark.
No problem to get the system approved (if it is installed correctly and according to the applicable regulation of course…)

There’s no problem to get your installation approved.
Mine is operational en working since 25 june 2008 and approved by Vincotte.
I must say that the distribution panel made quite an impression to the man who did the inspection.
