Change sensitivity PIR

How do I change the sensitivity of a PIR sensor? I can change it for the intergrated PIR in the buttons, but can’t change it for the standalone PIR for outside use.

Am I just missing an option here or is this a bug?

Neither. The VMBPIRO (outside PIR) does not allow for sensitivity to be changed. In most cases it’s sufficient to place/direct it well, and if necessary to cover part of the lens.

Thanks for the answer, will try that next.

My vmbpiro is triggered a lot
for example:

The sensor is at the front door of the house. So in direct sunlight. Is this causing the trigger events?

How can i prevent this?

A PIR sensor is triggered by changes in heat that move from 1 “sector” of its view to another. Apart from the desired causes (like people moving), undesired causes can be hot air from eg. ventilation/heating/airco/… systems, plants moving in the wind, etc.
It might also be that it detects objects moving far off (like cars passing on the street), in that case the solution would be to make sure that the view range is limited, ideally by good placement and turning the head, and if it still would be necessary, by obscuring part of the lens (using eg. a small piece of tape).
