I have a 0 to 100 deg C temp sensor with integrated 4…20mA transmitter. It’s connected to VMB4AN and I see this in the openHAB (see below). I’m trying to find out where the 0.5 deg C quantisation is coming from… Do you see something similiar with PT100 connected directly to VMB4AN? I use 2 point conversion from raw 4…20 mA values to 0 to 100 deg C in VelbusLink. The rule in openHAB doesn’t do any math or rounding. The sudden regular changes of a large body of water are impossible, so it’s the measurement chain problem…
I suspect the transmitter, but I will be able to test that when I tap a mA meter into the loop.
I switched VMB4AN to the ridiculous level of “accurancy” (0.000) and the quantisation is still there so most likely it’s from the sensor. I’ll be checking that when I get another sensor for an external 4…20 mA transmitter…
