% helderheid led VelbusLink vs HA

Hallo

Module: VMB4LEDPWM-20

Alain

Have you posted this on the HomeAssistant forum and seek assistant from the integration team?

If it’s a very specific curve, I could guess at the reason, but you say your graph is exotic. Does this mean you hadn’t spikes & troughs in it?

I think the Dev fixed an issue with the lookup table from an early integration.
Are you running the latest version?

FYI
Some Velbus dimmers don’t follow a 0 to 100% in decimal.

Newer dimmers are Hex. 0x00 to 0xFF

Meaning the Slider value needs converting from Dec to Hex.

Hi,
Latest version of what? HA, module, VelbusLink ?
Since it’s not a life-threatening situation I didn’t post anything on HA forum.

I just wondered where that difference came from
Range 0 to 40% in HA OS can’t be used since the light remains OFF

Latest version of HA Core & Velbus integration.

If it’s an issue with the HA Integration of Velbus, then it needs posting on the HA Community forum.

Officially, The Velbus company doesn’t { currently } support third party integrations.
(Something I’ve been arguing for, for many years)

That curve looks familiar

Did you get to page 6 of the protocol doc?

(I’m fairly sure the Velbus dev for HA has addressed this issue already)
