How to set energy counter VMB7IN

How do I change the current energy counter value of channel 4 of an VMB7IN ?

I tried to set the correct counter value by (over)writing to the memory addresses H’00F4’…H’00F7’.
Unfortunately the VMB7IN still sends the original counter value when the input channel gets a pulse. Is there something else I need to do to get the correct counter value

Hi,

When i understood your question correctly, i suppose you have to reset the counter itself (if your counter supports this)
If you are using a Velleman EMDIN01, EMDIN02 or EMDIN03 then it is not possible to reset the value.

I don’t know if this answers your question, but in Velbuslink, if you right-click on the counter channel and select operate, you’ll see an option to set the counter to a desired value.

Counter channel wasn’t visible for me, because reaction time was set to never.
So this helped me to discover something new.
