Hoe koppel ik mijn gaswandketel (Vaillant VCW 346 Ecotec plus) met mijn Velbus systeem?
Ik zou graag de temepratuurmetingen van Velbus gebruiken om mijn zonegeregelde kleppen aan te sturen alsook had ik graag met een buitentemperatuurregeling gewerkt. (Wat zijn de opties?)

Ik heb dan nog 1 vraagstuk op te lossen: ik zou de buitentemperatuur via de VMBPIROB laten binnenkomen om vervolgens de ketelwatertemperatuur aan te wijzigen. Is er daar al een oplossing voor?
Mijn ketel is een Vaillant Ecotec Plus VCW346 en is EEBUS compatibel.
That would need some kind of translation between Velbus and your boiler.

This caught my attention because I have a similar boiler… a Vaillant EcoTEC plus 637.
I was actually thinking to replace my boiler next year (as it is quite old now) but I had not considered any kind of direct smart control or monitoring of the boiler.
Small note: Vaillant use “ebus” which I think is not the same as eebus. Fortunately ebus appears to be quite simple though… and now I see someone has already put together some hardware and a linux daemon and instructions for ebus integration into Home Assistant…

Oh, and I see OpenHAB already had ebus binding support in 2.5 but I do not see any sign of it in docs for latest version (but note link on this page to ebus wiki that has lots of info on ebus - it looks easy to read with simple hardware)
Personally I do not use Home Assistant or OpenHAB so I cannot comment on what can be done with this but it looks a good step in the right direction?
