Last active level

Hi there,

I setup action 202 on a VMB4LEDPWM-20 module according to below screenshot.

I suppose “Target level” is the value the dimmer goes to with the next “short press” , right?

Well, whatever I configure there, the dimmer always goes to maximum light with short press.

Any idea why ??

Even better how to setup the dimmer that using short press sets the dimmer to the last active level ??

I don’t have action 203, is this module related ?

Regards
Alain

Hi

I understand the confusion.

Last active level means, “whatever it was before it was last switched off”

It used to be referred to as “Memory On” on older modules.

Try…

Long Pressing the button to set the brightness you like

Then a couple of short presses to see how that behaves

Indeed Stuart, “whatever it was before it was last switched off” using a short press I suppose.
I understood it that way, we are on the same page, but the module isn’t

Long press, light comes up, I stopped @ 2.65%
Short press, light goes off = ok
Short press, full light= NOT ok
Short press, light goes off = ok
Short press, full light= NOT ok

I could go on like this until chickens grow teeth.
(Dutch saying, no idea if it applies for the UK)

anyone, maybe from Velbus, since this is a functionality not working as expected

@VEL342 or any other :innocent:

Thanks a lot
regards
Alain

Hi @mcs51,

As we confirmed here in the Dutch topic, this functionality should work like intended.
Kindly check your wiring to the VMB4LEDPWM-20 and update the module with the latest firmware (2615).
