Override channel at night hours

Hello,

In attached (learning) project I want CH1 of the relay module to be ON when it’s dark according to “Dark” output of the VMBPIRO-20 but OFF from let say 22:15 PM to 04:05 AM.
I created virtual relay “VR Override” that is ON during said time interval.
Then add action “702.Inhibit while initiator is closed” to CH1 of the relay module.

Is that the way to do this?
If not, please advise.

If it works for you, then it works.

As an alternative route, you could Lock the Dark channel of the PIR.

Only so that you can still turn on the outside light manually if needed.

So instead of
Action “702.Inhibit while initiator is closed” on relay output “Outside Light”
Action “602.Lock channel while initiator is closed” on channel “Dark” of the sensor
Right?

The description of action 602 says “While a channel is locked, it does not send pressed or released commands.“ So, will the output will be turned off ?

Yes, that’s what I mean.

Both will do what you require, just with different limits and options.
