I use VMB4AN for measurements of air and water temperature. I have 2 4..20mA temperature transmitters (one integrated, one remote), both are industrial grade. I use the data from Velbus with OpenHAB. The entire setup is rock solid. But… last night I had local “power outage” (RCD tripped), the UPS got dicharged and the entire house was without power. After restoring the power everything came back to life, except the readings from VMB4AN. I had to open VelbusLink, connect, sync and that was it. That was enough to give the nudge to have a fully functional system again.
Now the question: what’s wrong? My setup? OpenHAB? The velbus firmware?
Any ideas? I’m clueless where to start. That happens only after the total shut down of the entire system.
The graph showing there were no readings. The rest of the system shows the gap only for the time when there was no power.
