Here we go again.
Another week at Kirklees College.
Day 1 of 5
This time, with a specialist presenter for HomeAssistant
Day 2 of 5
Day 3 of 5
Day 4 of 5
Day 5 of 5
I’ve just realised that I haven’t put a single post up about the 10 days I’ve spend at Kirklees College with all their Electrical and Plumbing students in March.
To say it was intense would be an understatement.
We had an absolute blast of a time and the students really engaged.
The college now has Four Velbus training bays and their own portable unit that they will take into senior schools to entice the next generation.
Last week, I was at Northampton College for an employer engagement session, where various people were on site to encourage the students to continue with their training.
I’ve redesigned the demo unit ( yet again ) to
make life easier
for the staff at colleges to move them between rooms.
An interlocking wheeled base unit will go with them, for keeping teaching aids and spare parts in.
These units are large enough to accommodate future upgrades and give the students plenty of room to really see how the kit links together.
They also have a 4-pole connector on the rear so that multiple cases can be linked together to create more complex setups.
There’s also a large wall display going into this college, which will include heating controls.
