Thermostat

Hi @VelbusStaff

I was wondering what the thought was behind the “HEATING / COOLING” mode in the thermostat… why would a thermostat not work in a single mode - and when it’s 20C and we request 18 the cooler goes on… while if we request 25C the heater goes on…

Is there a reason we must switch between heating mode and cooling mode?

(not an active issue - was just wondering)

Electrical functions of a heating pump are not the same in heating and cooling mode, like the reverse valve activated in cooling mode.
You can switch between heating or cooling mode manually or automatically, programming 2 of the 4 alarms available
