I Have a question about connecting a VMB1DM:
In the manual there is a picture with a cable (0.5mm2) between N and the N230 contact in the module
Can I use UTP for this?
What is the function of it?
We do not recommend to use UTP for this connection, as it is connected to the mains.
A stranded wire of at least 0.5mm² wil do the job.
So I can use a wire 1.5mm²?
And what is the function of it?
If 0.5mm² is OK then 1.5mm² sure is…
This wire supplies the dimmer with 230VAC for its operation, so no lamp current is passed trough this wire.
