when a bulb (specially a halogeen bulb) gets broken, it gives a small shortcut before the fillament burns. Will the dimmer survieve those small shortcuts and is a circuit braker of 10amps not to havy in this case?
The VMB1DM has an internal fuse, but we never can guarantee that other component also will be damaged.
This is that same for all dimmers, 100% preventing this is not possible.
