Vmb2bl - Not responding to roll up/down

I have programmed one Vmpb8 button to toggle roll up/down a blind.
It worked like a charm, but when I plugged a led to the button, it didnt respond any more even after getting rid of the led!

Even after reseting both modules.
And All the new programmation of another Vmpb8 button to toggle roll up/down were unsuccessful since then!

reprogrammed Vmpb8 button for down or up alone, it 'is handling the commande.

getting unknow 80 command in the debug screen?

Is it because of an older firmware, so Why did it work at 1st place??

Any comment would be more then welcome.

Strange, with Niko integrated leds in push button, no problem with VMB8PB…

  1. Have you check you resistor in front of the led ?
  2. Is the LED right connected (bipolar, so 50% chance to have an error) ?
  3. when removing LED, are VMB8PB functions back ?

Good luck

Nope roll up/down function is impossible to assign to any VMB8PB button not even trhough PC, all ather functions are fine for all the buttons: up,down imm down, imm up

Look like there is just you and me golfy in this velbus forum!?

when clicking on push button, actions are OK but you could not change programmation ?
Wich version of Velbuslink are you using ?

YES, noboby else here… all where gone to KNX / Domintell / X10… manufacturers ?

Also cannot control the toggle up/down.

Velbuslink 8.1.11.1251
VMB2BL Build 0701

Earlier firmware versions did not feature this option.
Possible option: return module for firmware upgrade.

But why did it work the first time, if it is firmware?
I was able to toggle up and down with one push button, through vmpb8 and via velbulink 8.1.4.1911 (last version)?!

But as I stated I wanted to test vmpb8 with the provided led, and since then no up/down function work via link and button, even after a reset of modules!

something like bugged the firmware…

If was not referring to the the people where it worked at first, it was a remark for the people where it never worked.

My Bad,

So what would it be? I am really confused.

X10 = pas fiable

Earlier firmware? only had module a month.

Also a quote from the place i bought it from.

It is possible that the module has been on stock for a while at your distributor.
