Hello.
In my home installation, one of the VMB8PBU modules just stopped working. If I connect Velbuslink, I see all the inputs of the module in the “Locked” state. The only way to make it work again is to shutdown the bus power and power back on, but it stops working again after a few moments.

This is a firmware bug in the VMB8PBU which has been fixed in later versions. The soon to be released version 9 of VelbusLink will allow you to perform a firmware upgrade of your module to the latest version. Meanwhile, we will contact you to resolve this problem.

I work with Microchip microcontrollers (as Velbus products) and probably I would be able to flash new firmwares directly with pickit programmer. If it helps solving this issue, please let me know.

I’m sorry, the weekend and holidays here in Belgium have unfortunately kept a reply waiting. Tomorrow I will send you software and instructions on how to perform a firmware upgrade. There is no need to remove the module.
