Does anyone know how long a VMBDMI will stay in Thermal Protect.
Without any reason I had a dimmer go in thermal protect. OUT indicator is flashing 5 times.
Do I just leave everything as it is and wait for the protection to go away ?
12 hours later still blinking and Thermal Protect…
Did you turn off the power and turn it back on again?
No I didn’t, I just made sure that the Dimmer was not ‘dimming’.
I did not took away power from the module.
Can this solve the issue ?
It is sure worth a try.
Took off the power of the faulting VMBDMI. Reconnecting after 2 hours did not solve the issue. Lucky me, I still had a spare module.
Can I send the module back to Velleman for replacement ? What is the procedure to follow ?
