Vmbpiro Illuminance

HI everyone,

a quick question on a “why” … as in… why is the Illuminance on the piro reverted… as in… if it’s reallllllly bright… I have a value of 2 or 1 lx, while if it gets really dark the number is like 40 or 60 or something like that

I would have expected it to be the other way around as Illuminance is a measure of how much the incident light illuminates the surface, wavelength-weighted by the luminosity function to correlate with human brightness perception (at least thats how Wikpedia described it)

The Velbus tech team will need to confirm this, but I think the Light Level in everything other than the VMBMETEO is shown as an arbitrary level, rather than in LUX.

I suspect, but don’t know for sure, that it’ll be similar to how an LDR works.

More light = Less resistance = lower level
